Around the County - Nov 2017

What a privilege to have spent the month of November meeting with many strong Democrats in the smaller towns of Champaign County, as well as engaging with enthusiastic supporters in Urbana, Champaign and the University precincts. Thank you to all of my supporters throughout the County!
Thankful for the many endorsements from community leaders received this month! Meet and Greet hosted by Peg Steffensen
Making some posters for the CU Indivisible’s protest at Rodney Davis’ office regarding the proposed tax reform legislation. Let’s all work together to protect tuition wavers! Hosting a planning meeting for community outreach events for the rest of the year. Contact me if you’d like me to speak to your community group or organization!
Many thanks to neighbors Steve and Deb Rugg for hosting a Meet-n-Greet for my campaign! Enjoyed my last morning chatting with voters at Urbana's Market at the Square before it moves indoors. Always such great conversations!
Enjoyed attending a ribbon cutting ceremony at the opening of Olympia Dr and Lincoln Ave. It's my goal to work to develop more ways all governments can cooperate for the County’s economic growth! Reaching 1,000 signatures on my petition to run for County Executive for Champaign County on the Democratic ticket!
At the Rotary Veterans One-on-One lunch and so inspired by veterans that served from WWII and forward. Let a veteran know you are grateful for their service! Spent a great time (along with other Democratic candidates Leah Taylor and Ramona Sullivan) chatting with constituents about County issues!
Here with a large crowd of community members to hear the Community Justice Task Force Report to reduce racial disparities in the local criminal justice system. Here walking in the Christie Clinic Parade of Lights with son Christopher Kloeppel and Granddaughter Molly and the Champaign County Young Democrats!
